from $95·75 min·Flatiron · SoHo · Boston

Adaptation training, in private.

The Contrast Suite is built for our signature adaptation training: the deliberate swing between heat and cold that trains your body to adapt and recover. It is one of our most booked experiences, a private room where you control the music, the amenities, and the pace, moving between sauna and cold plunge on a rotation we have tuned to the latest research.

How it works

01

Heat

Eight to twelve minutes in the sauna, up to fifteen, to raise your core temperature.

02

Cold

A cool down shower, then a cold plunge for around three minutes.

03

Repeat

Two to three full rotations, always ending on the cold. New to it? Start with a guided breathwork ice bath class first.

Why contrast

Alternating heat and cold sends your blood vessels through repeated widening and tightening, a workout for your circulatory system that improves how efficiently your body moves blood and clears waste. The heat relaxes and opens; the cold sharpens and flushes; together they train the body to adapt, which is the whole point.
